Welcome to Cooking Class!

 

 

Students in this class will be able to:

    * understand and practice safe handling practices

    * understand and practice aesthetic table settings

    * understand and practice recommended food portions

    * understand and practice balanced meal planning

    * understand and practice fast food vs whole food decisions

    * understand and practice finding hidden calories, fats, and sugars in foods

    * understand and practice the joy of cooking

 

Grades will be determined through the following:

    Work Safely--follow all directions by your instructor, cooperate with your groups, and taking part in ALL aspects of our class.

    Respect the space and each other--cleaning, washing up, sweeping, restoring items, frugality with materials, and cleanliness at all costs!

    Belong where you should be--that means staying in our space, putting things away, cleaning up, and respecting your classmates right to belong in this space too.

 

Six (6) points daily will be earned for following these guidelines
